Inspired by my Welsh ancestry this cute Dragon wall clock is made from an old vinyl LP and has a quartz sweep movement mechanism which runs on a single AA battery (not included) The clock is approx 28cm (11") from nose to tail and 22cm (8 1/2") high. As someone who prefers to recycle rather than scrap wherever possible I like to use things that are of little or no use to others and turn them into something practical and hopefully pleasing to the eye. Old, non-playable vinyl records inspire me to create interesting and affordable wall clocks and various other items. I particularly like the way that light plays on the record grooves to constantly and subtly vary the effect of the items.
