This is a 'Giclée' reproduction on museum quality paper of an antique work showing the whole of Scotland.
A wonderfully detailed map of Scotland. This is my favourite overview of Scotland from my archive, the original dates back to 1628. Viewed up close, villages and rivers can be seen, some still in existence... many long changed. This is a beautiful piece and covers all of central Scotland, the Highlands too, from Skye to Inverness, Aberdeenshire down to Edinburgh, Scottish Borders, across to modern day Kintyre, the Clyde and Glasgow (which doesn't exist in this map!).

Giclée in Detail:
'Giclée' is a loosely used term which often describes printing at a high resolution with accurate colour. The term is not maintained by any international body and you should be aware that not all giclée prints are created equal!
I use the term 'Giclée' along with 'museum quality' in promotion and on my website, as it is widely understood and requested by artists when they want high quality prints.
The technical term for what 'Giclée' is Archival Pigment Print.
