They're a lovely gift for anyone at any time, and just perfect for you to collectThis is the first time that I've shared my miniature porcelain sculptures with you on Folksy. I've been making them for a long time and my mousey collection has just kept on growing. Every piece is individually made, so no two are ever quite the same. Ideas keep happening, so there'll be many more for you to see. Do look at my listings and you'll find my greetings cards with more mousey themes.

Unique and completely hand-made by me just for you, these tiny porcelain mice on their cheese measure just 5cm x 5cm. Your mice will be wrapped in a protective nest inside strong packaging. They will travel first class, as all mice should!

My mother had a tiny, old Spode porcelain pot, smothered with the tiniest flowers and with a pair of Goldfinches perched on the rim I loved looking at it it, but definitely wasn't allowed to touch. I wanted my own. I started working with earthenware clay in my teens and loved it. Nowadays I work with fine, lovely and often difficult porcelain.

I use my fingers plus scalpels and dentists' instruments alongside many other tiny tools. The raw porcelain feels soft and silky on my fingers, just like pliable talcum powder. After I've fired it to 1253degC, it transforms into the beautiful porcelain you see. And, although it appears so fragile, in reality it's much stronger than it looks. My childhood dreams and ambitions are coming true. I haven't changed one little bit - as you can see!
