The front panel of this cushion is made from strips of the more loose weave tweed in grey and black. The fabric used on the back is a grey and blue fine weave suiting.

This tweed is 100% wool and is soft to the touch. The cushion measures approximately 30 cm x 50 cm and includes a cotton covered feather cushion pad.

These more monochrome colours will look good in any setting.

I live near Wigtown in Galloway, which is known as the Scottish Book Town and every year they have a Book Festival in September. I adapted a design from patchwork known as the bookshelf block. A straw poll decided not only did it look like books on a shelf, but it also looked like a "Cityscape". So that became the name of the design.

It's made in Border Tweed and I love choosing which colours and tweeds to put together for the final effect. It's a modern design that will look good in any home.
