I created these earrings by cutting the shapes from brass sheet and then using a doming punch to create the eyes of the fish. I punched curved lines to loosely suggest scales . the earrings were oxidised and polished to a satin sheen. They measure 2.1 cm. approx in length and with the sterling silver ear hook are 3.5 cm. approx.

I have become inspired by my doming punches to create items which incorporate their usage.In this way the tools themselves can become part of not just the forming of objects but the aid to design itself.
