Ammonite fossil necklace, oxidised Reflections sterling silver.

The fossil hangs from a hammered silver bail and measures 2.5cm long by 1.2cm wide. It is heavy, as it is a solid cast.

The sterling silver snake chain measures 16 inches. Other lengths available on request.

The packaging is a recycled brown card box with silver KK stamp. A gift message can be included on the tag which comes with it, detailing where the fossil was found.

This fossil was collected on the beach at Boggle Hole, near Whitby, North Yorkshire. I only ever found two fossils with good detail on these expeditions. This one was perfect.
This is an impression of the ammonite, cast in Reflections sterling silver, which has the highest silver content. The fossil is oxidised to accentuate the detail and encourage the impression of being found in the ground.
