Limpet Shell Necklace, cast in Reflections Sterling Silver.

The limpet is 1.8cm by 1.8cm, and is cast in Reflections Sterling Silver, which has the highest silver content and is extremely tarnish resistant. It is heavy as it is a solid cast, using the lost wax process.
The sterling silver snake chain measures 16 inches.

The necklace is packaged in a recycled brown card box, with silver KK stamps on the lid. I can include a message on the gift tag.

Each piece I create is unique due to the process or the materials I use.

The granite rocks on the Isles of Scilly are covered with limpet shells, but the ones I collect are like treasure on many of the beaches, where they have been tossed by the sea.

The limpet shell was collected from Old Town Beach, overlooked by the ancient church yard where Harold Wilson lies at rest.
