A super soft cardigan for a newborn is the perfect present to give to new parents. Cardigans are infinitely useful, easy to slip on, cosy and warm without being too obstructive for the delicate baby. With touches of colour, this cardigan is effortlessly sweet. The scalloped edges to the collar, sleeves and around the bottom of the cardigan give a cute finishing touch.

The cardigan is made using 'Cashmerino by Debbie Bliss'. A sumptuous blend of merino, cashmere and acrylic wool to give a soft, baby-friendly feel. The simple light wooden buttons give a natural look to the cardigan, the appearance of them can change slightly through washing, but this just gives a unique quality to the cardigan.

In depth washing and care instructions are included, but to give you an idea, this item is machine washable at 30 degrees.

All sizes are standard, the same you would find in popular shops. As everything is handmade, there may be slight variations between each item.

I was inspired by my grandmother who would always have a knitting project on the go for one of her grandchildren (there are 15 of us!). The love that would go into each and every garment delighted me.
Since 2015 I have been blessed with two adorable nieces. I have been working hard to make them beautiful, but useful, pieces of clothing. To be able to now share this cardigan with you is wonderful! Keep an eye on this shop for more baby clothes in the near future!
