This antique bronze coloured music themed kilt pin brooch is decorated with a glass cabochon featuring an image of a dark pink roses and smaller blue and purple and flowers on a sepia coloured background with musical notes. Also used in this brooch are three antique bronze charms (two little hearts and an old fashioned gramophone), three dark pink coloured Czech glass flower beads, three tiny Czech glass fire polish beads, two in cream and one in sparkly purple, and five even tinier beads in blue speckled with brown.

The brooch is 5cms (2ins) wide and 5cms (2ins) high (this is the length of the longest dangle)

Each of my kilt pin brooches is designed around a particular theme. For this one, the starting point was the musical notes in the cabochon image, and the lovely dark pink colour of the roses. The gramophone charm continues the musical theme and the colours of the beads are chosen to complement the colours in the image. The heart charms have become a sort of signature and I usually try to include one or two of them somewhere in my designs.
