A utterly soft and beguiling blanket crocheted to a design taken from a blanket seen on 'Call the Midwife'. A true retro 50's/60's pattern, and extremely charming. This blanket is so soft and fluid, and is edged with a silky smooth ribbon. Measuring 42x34 inches. It is perfect for cot, pram and stroller.

This pattern can be made to order in a yarn of your choice.

One of my favourite programmes is 'Call the Midwife', and I have always loved the clothes and blankets I no doubt would've had myself as a baby. I was delighted when I found a pattern for this blanket and was lucky to get hold of the softest old fashioned pure new wool in this gorgeous colour. I have hopes to make this many times in a variety of colours and yarns.
