Item details

- Beautiful small pieces of textile art that can be used to personalise and decorate lots of items, including clothing and accessories. Would make wonderful brooches or pendants for that extra special gift.

- All of my embroidered items are made by using free motion (aka thread painting) which involves disabling the normal fabric feeding system on a sewing machine. As a result I'm able to move the fabric in any direction to draw the design.

- These patches were made onto fabric remnants from a separate project to reduce the amount of waste material my business creates.

- Completely machine washable, although it is recommended to avoid washing above 40 degrees.

- A raw edge has been left on these items as a frayed look really compliments the design and adds to the artistic look. However if this is unwanted simply sew on with a satin stitch or use fray check. Please note that the fabric won't fray into the design as has been made with a zigzag stitch to prevent this.

- Please note size, colour and shape may vary slightly to that shown in the photographs due to the handmade nature of this item.

After completing an Alice in Wonderland themed jacket for charity, I absolutely fell in love with the Mad Hatter motif on the piece. Simply yet had a lot of charm, especially when considering how iconic of a character the Hatter is.
