Based on the Jungle book, these brass, silver and resin dangle earrings are pretty and delicate.

The resin earrings each feature my own drawing of Bagheera the Panther from the Jungle Book - set in the middle of the resin so they appear floating.

The handmade half hoop earring wire has a flat bottomed edge, which the semi circle earring hangs from. The resin section is topped with a square brass tube which the sterling silver wire passes through, allowing the earring to swing gently.

These panther earrings measure 20mm wide, and hang approximately 25mm from the top of the wire hoop to the bottom of the resin section.

Care of your resin earrings: You can polish your earrings to restore shine using a multipurpose household polish, I use Peek.

I have always loved stories and narrative, especially classic tales and fairy tales. Having done a degree in Illustration, this has naturally fed into my jewellery.

I'm also a massive fan of nature and animals, so the Jungle Book was the perfect combination to base a collection of jewellery on!

Taking inspiration from the original text by Rudyard Kipling I came up with a series of drawings based around the characters from the book. These prowling Bagheera drawings work perfectly in the semi circle shape of the earrings

I wanted the collection as a whole to be made up of pieces that are beautiful in their own right, with a subtle extra layer of interest for those who choose to look closer. I didn't want their appeal to be solely the drawings or text, but also the construction and materials used to create each item.
