A beautiful handmade bangle with hand stamped lettering on brass, set between clear resin and laser cut walnut wood.

The brass is stamped with a quote from the original Jungle Book text about Bagheera the Panther -
"He had a voice as soft as warm honey dripping from a tree"

The inner diameter of the bangle measures 68mm, and the thickness is approximately 6mm square.

To care for your bangle, you can polish the whole thing with any multipurpose polish - I use Peek. Do not wear swimming or in the shower - rain is not a problem.

With a background in illustration, I have always loved stories and narrative, especially classic tales and fairy tales.

I'm also a massive fan of nature and animals, so the Jungle Book was the perfect combination to base a collection of jewellery on!

Other pieces in the range feature my own drawings of characters from the story, and this bangle was an opportunity to take a quote directly from the beautiful writing of Rudyard Kipling.

I wanted this bangle, as well as the collection as a whole, to be made up of pieces that are beautiful in their own right, with a subtle extra layer of interest for those who choose to look closer. I didn't want their appeal to be solely the drawings or text, but also the construction and materials used to create each item.
