A 1967 bronze penny, cut with an image of a jumping dolphin over a wavy sea. This is the first in a new series that will include a variety of different animals.

A sterling silver chain is attached, 16 or 18inch, please select which you would prefer and let me know.

Ideal as a 50th birthday present this year, 2017. Bronze represents the 8th wedding anniversary (traditional) or the 19th (modern calendar)

Bronze is an alloy, mainly consisting of copper. The UK penny which was phased out after 1970, was made up of 95% copper, 4% tin and 1% zinc

Despatched in a presentation box via the Royal Mail Signed For service in the UK as part of the price. For those in Europe outside the UK, there is a small additional postal charge. These will be sent via the Royal Mail International Standard service.

All jewellery listed here that says silver is sterling silver, I do not use silver plate at all. There will be elements of sterling silver in every design (except keyrings), some will be completely so, others may have combinations of copper, brass, bronze, glass, enamel, pewter, resin, upcycled biscuit tins and pre-decimal coins and/or semi-precious stones as well. Many of the designs are one-of-a-kind.

My grandad left me a huge bag of old pennies and halfpennies, many of them very worn but others very usable. The 1967 pennies in particular are mostly mint condition and it is an ideal year for me to start making these - for anyone who has a 50th birthday. (1967 was the last year that these bronze pennies were minted in any real numbers.)
