An unframed A3 print of an acrylic painting of Broadway Tower. This folly is a landmark on the Cotswold escarpment overlooking the Vale of Evesham. In the foreground are sheep the providers of the Cotswolds main source of wealth down the centuries - wool. Its a wonderful spot with the most fantastic view.
I was walking along the ridge up to the tower, when I came across this herd of sheep. They stared at me with that 'how dare you' look that sheep always give, and I paused to make a quick sketch of the curve of the ridge up to the tower with the view extending off to the right. When I came to paint the scene I almost left the sheep out, but then decided to put them in the foreground staring as they had.
