This lampshade has been made from mid-century fabric in a striking orange and brown burst of pattern. It is a 30cm drum - 21cm deep - which can be used on a table lamp or a ceiling pendant. It meets safety standards, and is a complete one-off - this is the only one made!

I love re-using vintage and midcentury fabrics, and this lampshade is a striking exampke of the type of fabric popular in the 1960s. It would have been used as curtains originally, so this was a unique way to reclaim a striking piece of fabric. The lampshade is just as attractive whether the light is switched on or off. The colours would suit a variety of colour schemes and interior styles.
