One of our most popular designs, these substantial timber coat racks are made from reclaimed timber using traditional joinery techniques.
The pale pine frames are jointed with through tenons and various antique and reclaimed boards are housed into the rails. The coat rack pictured is approx 860mm wide x 660mm high x 120mm deep. The two wide boards were reclaimed from a Welsh school during the renovation and have some lovely original paint effects. The whole piece has a had a wax polish to bring out the grain of the timbers.
Any size and configuration is possible and further shelves can be added. Feel free to contact us at www.sustainablewoodwork.co.uk to get an accurate price for your own coat rack.
Delivery is by a courier that we use a lot but customers are more than welcome to arrange their own transport/collection. For full terms and conditions see our website.
Thanks for looking.
We started making these as far back as 2010. It was one of the first items we produced. people can never seem to have too many hooks and shelves and this is a great way to introduce reclaimed timber into the house without having to find any floor space. It's also an easy way to display interesting boards of reclaimed woods in the panelling of the coat rack.
