One handmade notebook with a fish pattern cover and 40 blank white pages.

Great for Sketching, shopping lists or midnight thoughts!

How is it made?
Each notebook is handmade by me! First I trim paper and a cover to roughly A5 size and use a bone folder to fold them into a notebook. The spines are stitched on a sewing machine in a matching coloured thread and finished off at each end by hand. To finish off I trim the edges carefully using a scalpel and a metal ruler.
I love products with hand finished touches so most of what I sell is hand finished in some way. This means each notebook will vary ever so slightly from the next. Please bare this in mind when purchasing!

The Fish pattern on this notebook comes from a recent idea I explored on my MA course.

Whilst exploring stories about humans and sea creatures I came across a story about a group of dolphins in Brazil who help the fishermen of Laguna Beach to catch fish. The dolphins chase the fish through the murky waters in the direction of the fishermen’s nets. This fish pattern was one of the illustrations I made for this project.
