Signed, stamped, hand titled, limited edition, framed Giclee print of original illustration by Mark McPhelim.
Whilst walking the coastal path from North Berwick to Gullane, through beautiful East Lothian, I stumbled across Fidra. An uninhabited island in the Firth of Forth, around three miles north-west of North Berwick, on the east coast of Scotland.
The crisp winter morning's stark sunlight and clear blue skies was enough to inspire this landscape!
To the far edge of Fidra, an RSPB nature reserve, sits it's very own lighthouse. Built in 1885 (and still in use!) it's white-washed walls is clearly visible in the morning sun.
This part of the world feels very serene and remote. The peace is only broken by sounds of the waves and a small flock of hardy birds. A naturally beautiful part of the world which you may know well or is somewhere that has still to be discovered!
Bespoke framed and ready to hang.
