Normally when constructing a table top, boards are planked up square, laid up and jointed. On this table the natural curved wanes of each board have been left on, and then matched into the next board of a similar wane. It was a bit time consuming, but I think it lends an interesting and more organic appearance. I'm a hobby carpenter, designing and making one off individual pieces. They are unusual. Unlike a factory produced items, there may be quirks and or faults. This should be seen as part of their charm. I source all timber locally from two trusted independent sawmills. All timber of sustainable Sussex origin.
