An original painting in acrylics on box canvas of a great tit. one of an ongoing series on British birds.
It measures 7 x 5 inches ( 18 x 12.5 cms approx) with 1.5 inch (4cms) wide sides, which are painted to match the painting, so a frame is not necessary, but optional.
It can be displayed on a small table easel or a side table, for example, or hung on the wall.
It is painted with acrylics, and I use only artist quality paints from reputable brands such as Winsor and Newton, Amsterdam or Golden Artist Colors. It comes already varnished with a satin finish varnish.
It will be well packaged for transit.
Please just get in touch if you have any questions and thanks for looking.

Since I can remember, I have always been a bird lover. I have fond memories of making our own bird cakes in yoghurt pots with my mum, and hanging them out for our winged friends to eat. I am saddened to not hear the once familiar song of the cuckoo or see bullfinches at the garden bird table as I did when I was a little girl.
i can't imagine a world without birds in it.
