Welcome to my shop where you will find accessories created from vintage and recycled linens, lace and fabrics together with a selection of vintage and upcycled sewing supplies - including vintage lace. Accessories featuring original embroidery, in association with felting, hand dyeing, fabric painting and crazy patchwork may be found in my other shop 'Lynwoodcrafts'.
A pretty blue floral coffee pot, cut from vintage printed fabric, is hand appliqued onto a vintage linen background, bordered with cheerful blue and white gingham and then a patchwork of vintage spotted fabric alternating with embroidered flower patches - carefully rescued from my collection of vintage table linens.
A coffee pot motif has been cut from vintage Laura Ashley fabric and appliqued onto a panel of vintage linen up-cycled from a rescued tablecloth. The panel is mounted onto a portion of a vintage huckaback towel. It is bordered with blue and white gingham - the only new fabric in this piece. This, in turn , is bordered with a patchwork of vintage pastels on blue spotted fabric alternating with pretty pieces of embroidery from other rescued table linens. The hanging is bound with a vintage blue and white striped canvas fabric.
Although the theme may be repeated, each of the hangings which I am able to offer for sale will be unique in composition, due largely to the unique nature of the vintage linens used. I hope you like this one!
A hanging sleeve is provided, into which a length of dowel has been inserted. Hanging cords are fastened to the ends of the dowel.
Height: 32 cm approx.
Width: 26 cm approx
Pretty, vintage Laura Ashley fabric was used for the coffee pot and embroidered linens provided the patches for the border
