A lap sized crochet blanket / throw, measuring approx 39" x 42" (100cm x 108cm), made in "winter berry" colours.
It is based on Lucy of Attic24's Cosy Stripe Blanket but with the addition of rows of little bobbles appearing on one side only, although it is fully reversible.
Perfect for snuggling under on winter evenings, taking out in the car, or perhaps for summer picnics. Made from Aran yarn which is 75% premium acrylic and 25% wool, it is lovely and warm and cosy. It is fully machine washable but should be air dried, not tumbled. I would recommend drying flat.

I wanted to make a really warm, snuggly blanket for cosying under on the sofa. It has a simple stripe pattern, which is repeated in the border.
I'd already made a couple of blankets in shades of green and brown, which I named "Woodland Walk" and when I saw this selection of colours, I knew they would make a perfect "Winter Berry" blanket. I worked regular rows of little bobbles, or berries, to give a lovely texture to one side of this reversible blanket.
