This lovely pendant makes a perfect gift for any occasion . A simple and elegant gift that will be treasured forever. Handmade by me from start to finish ensuring a unique piece every time

The design for this necklace was inspired by some brooches designed by Augustus Rose. I transfer my design on to a piece of sterling silver sheet which was 0.7mm thick. I then cut away all the interior shapes. After filing and refining the edges I made a bezel for the 8mm round cabouchon. The bezel was soldered to the centre of the pendant I then polished the silver before setting the turquoise stone to create this delicate and original piece of jewellery.
This measure 4cm in diameter (Just over 1 .5 inches)

You can order this necklace with a turquoise cabouchon on a 46cm/18" snake chain, as in the photograph, or if you prefer a trace chain this is available in 40cm/16” or 46cm/18” . All chains are sterling silver.

I have been looking at the work of Augustus F Rose recently and really like some of the designs he had created for brooches with "cut out" or pierced shapes. I have pierced pieces before although they were fairly simply designs. The Augustus Rose designs inspired me to be more adventurous and try something more complex. Whilst pondering what to do a client came to see me , she wanted a pendant and while chatting noticed some of my rather rough designs drawings. We worked together to create this design which would included a space for a central stone to be set, in this case a 8mm round Turquoise cab. I am currently working on different designs that will enable me to use stones that are different shapes and larger - so watch this space.
