A Fine Art black and white framed photograph of a classic 1964 Volvo PV544 car interior.

I took the photo on a classic Pentax MX 35mm film camera. The car was at a classic car show on the Isle of Wight.

The Ilford B & W film was processed by Ilford and scanned. I made the print using a Canon Pixma Pro1 printer on Canon Pro Luster 260g photo paper.
The pigment inks from this printer have a much longer life than other inkjet prints.
The photograph was mounted and framed by me. I have used only the finest quality materials, to preserve the picture.

The frame is solid hardwood (Walnut, Ash, or Oak - PLEASE STATE YOUR CHOICE WHEN ORDERING) and has been sealed with natural shellac before being hand-polished with 2 coats of natural beeswax. The finish is lovely and smooth and is designed to look this good for years to come.

I use cotton museum mount board (unbuffered - PH neutral, no chemicals) & quality UV specialist glass.

The package is classy and unique. I have taken extreme care throughout the process, from taking the picture, right through to finishing the wood frame, so you are getting the best possible quality.
Photo size - 11" x 7 1/2" (28cm x 19cm)
Frame overall size - 17 1/2" x 14 1/2" (45cm x 37cm)

Complete with wall hanging fittings.
I use equally high quality packaging to protect the frame in transit (hence my shipping costs are not cheap!)

I love classic cars and photography. I also love making my own photo frames.

I have been a member of the Fine Art Trade Guild since 2003. I only make frames of conservation or museum quality.

I am originally from the Isle of Wight and I enjoy visiting the classic car show there every summer. My Dad exhibits his classic Triumph there. This lovely old Volvo is about the same age as me!
