This cardi, hot off my knitting needles after about 80 hours work, has side pockets and would fit someone small to medium-sized. It's made from mixed fibres so should be machine-washed at 30 degrees only. It's warm and cosy but not unbearably thick, and it's not itchy. The name 'Frankie' is knitted into one sleeve but this is only visible by the wearer, and only if they know what to look for (I started it for a friend but it was too small so I started again for her). It is a joy to wear!

It was for a friend who lost her beloved son Frankie a few years ago, but keeps his memory alive. I knitted his name into a sleeve. Then I realised it would be too small for her, so started a bigger one. I have just finished the first one - so one sleeve only has 'Frankie' knitted in - but can only seen by the wearer if they look for it. Still, I call it Frankie Cardi 1 ! The third and fourth photos show a cardigan in the making for a one-year-old, and a hooded cardigan (the same size) recently dispatched to a delighted customer.
