Item details
Castle Crag is the smallest, and one of the most accessible of Wainwrights Lakeland fells. Perhaps because of this ease of access I have been up to the top of the peak on many occasions. These Scots Pines are very obvious as you climb. I often think they look like they are deep in conservation.
I originally created this image for a large-scale screen print. The edition sold out very quickly, and as I was toying with an idea to start generating more affordable versions of my work, I thought that perhaps I could start with recreating this image using a Riso machine.
