I live and work in Ludlow, Shropshire, where I work full time as a glass artist. I was approached by a customer asking me if I could make a necklace incorporating the ashes from both her dog and cat. I made the necklace with the ashes sealed within the glass which she wears near her heart everyday. Pretty shortly after that I was asked to make four hearts with the ashes of a mum who had recently passed away. They were wanted for four sisters. I made the four keepsakes the mothers favourite colours and they were received very well.
