This rustic coat hook is made from reclaimed materials, a combination of wood and steel
The hooks them selves are gripfast vintage bicycle wheel nuts, secured to a panel salvaged from a used pallet.
Above the hooks is a shelf, for storing keys or such like, another panel salvaged from a recycled pallet, mounted using two reclaimed steel brackets
The pieces of pallet have been finished so that there is still markings and evidence of the pallets previous encounters, however they are now suitable for many years service inside the home
The finished timber components have been treated with natural carnuba and beeswax to protect the finish
This set of hooks can be provided with holes pre drilled for wall mounting, or can be supplied with hooks, that can be screwed to the back in order for the piece to be hooked over screws pre inserted into the desired hanging location

I salvaged the gripfast wheel nuts in order to rebuild a vintage bike, and thought the surplus items were too good to throw away, and must have a use I had not yet thought of, until I caught there remarkable resemblance to a coat hook
