Up the hill, at the edge of the forest, I saw a beautiful deer watching me one evening whilst I was out walking with my dog. I thought she would make a perfect addition to this painting, which I was working on at the time. I kept her half hidden, still and quiet. Can you find her? Maybe most people that look at the painting won’t see her but she’ll always be there – just like the beauty of nature that surrounds us, but which in our busy lives we often overlook.
