Labradorite & Sterling Silver Earrings

A lovely pair of Labradorite Earrings made with Sterling Silver briolette wrapped stones.They are then attached to Sterling Silver earwires.

This Labradorite exhibits a range of colours when the light hits the stones- from blues to greens ,even oranges.

There is a matching pendant available -also available in the Gemstones Collection in my folksy shop.It comes from the same strand of Labradorite but please note as these are all genuine gemstones no 2 are exactly the same.

Labradorite

Labradorite belongs to the feldspar mineral family and can display as in these stones an iridescent optical effect (or schiller) known as labradorescence.

A truly lovely play of colours caused by light interacting with the internal structure of the gemstones.
