Bending and shaping metal is something new to me. I perfer to saw, hammer and shape. The inspiration for this came from a real peacock feather I found rummaging in the attic. After a few trial pieces using copper wire of various thicknesses I decided 1.5m round wir was the best option and made it up in Sterling silver. It has become my favourite piece and I wear it all the time. I have made a couple of these now but every one is slightly different. I am considering setting a stone in the centre but just need to find the right one possible a Paua shell or abalone so watch this space
