Something to keep your little artist happy for hours.....

In this kit there is everything a child needs to create their own colourful space-themed pillow case:
1 x 100% luxury cotton, envelope fold, pillow case, lovingly made by me.
1 pack of 8 brightly coloured permanent textile markers.
1 x card and cellophane (to make a backing pad to prevent the paint bleeding onto the back of the pillowcase)

Some children will need supervision and others will just get on with it. The good thing about a pillowcase is that your child wont grow out of it before its finished.

The markers have a soft flow tip, are non-toxic and safe for children to use, but they are recommended for children 3 years and above and an adult will need to iron the painted areas to fix them so that they become permanent in the wash.

When I discovered this lovely fabric I made two pillow cases for my nephews and posted them to Vancouver with a box of textile markers. I knew they would love them, but their mum was equally thrilled that something so simple could keep them occupied for long periods, colouring in all the characters and creating a unique piece of art work which they can keep for ever.

I did something similar for my own children more than two decades ago, although we didn't have such lovely fabric then. Though thread bare, they are individual little works of art and I still have them even though my children have long since moved out.

A perfect gift to develop creativity and its useful too.
