I make quilted textiles using wool batting & I have photographed the reverse side of my work for some time. I realised that the warm & cosy quality of the wool together with the richness of the stitched lines would lend itself really well to Christmas cards, so I began to experiment with imagery. I took a small batch of cards along to a craft market in November where they sold out within the first hour! People really love their simplicity & cosy but minimalist aesthetic - perfect for this time of year.
