Corsage brooch made from 100% wool tweed in shades of natural greens, and green leather, with cream lace and a mother of pearl button.
All materials upcycled.
Brooch pin with safety fastening sewn to reverse.
10cm / 4" diameter.

A while ago my mother gave me a large leather suitcase full of remnants of beautiful fabric- tweeds, silks, cottons, lace, all begging to be upcycled into beautiful accessories. I took this lovely scrap of wool tweed and matched it with a piece of leather from some off-cuts upcycled from a manufacturer, together with some cream lace and a mother of pearl button. A beautiful brooch for a winter coat, a hat , a dress.
