Anyone whippet or greyhound owner will know that they have very thin fur which means they can easily get cold in the winter and poor weather. My own whippet 'Betsy' has a couple of jumpers to keep her warm in the house over the winter and a couple of coats for winter walks that help to give her the encouragement she needs to step outside when the weather in the north is grim. I don't know what goes through her mind when she puts these on although I am fairly sure she is grateful but it did inspire my imagination to think about her choosing something herself from her wardrobe each morning!
