This is an unframed original ink drawing of Hathersage Moor in the Derbyshire Peak District National Park, near Sheffield. Inspired by the view of this upland landscape from Upper Padley on the road to Grindleford near Fox House, this piece features Over Owler Tor and Mother cap, two rocky outcrops of millstone grit, and the birch woodland below.
This area, including Millstone Edge, Padley Gorge and Longshaw, is very popular for climbing, bouldering and walking. This sketch would make a great gift for someone who loves the Peak Park, climbing, hiking, countryside and the outdoors.
Paper size: A6 (10.5 x 14.8 cm) (4 1/8 x 5 3/4 inches)
Drawn in ink with Pentel Brush Pens on 220gsm acid-free cartridge paper
