Item details

100gm batt of Ile de France fiber handpainted and drumcarded by me in my studio. I use Landscape Dyes and exhaust my dye bath and test it to ensure that what I dispose of afterward is safe for the environment. All my batts are made in a pet free, smoke free studio and house so you don't have to worry if you have allergies. If you are looking for colours or amounts you don't see, please get in touch with me and you can have the colour/s and amount you would like.

The colours for this batt came from standing on my back step watching the sun go down. Sunrise and sunset are so beautiful. The sky had a red glow that reminded me of the phrase, "Red sky at night, sailor's delight. Red sky at morning, sailor take warning." And I thought, "Great! Tomorrow will be a nice day!" And it was too. That was how I picked the colours for this. From that sky.
