The images used in these cufflinks are based upon the iconic postage stamp created for the British Empire exhibition (Wembley, April 1924). They reflect the socio-economic aspirations of the time. A conversation starter for the more sophisticated gentleman.

Also included is a mini, brass magnifying glass to thoroughly inspect the various items within this delightful gift.

Also included is a depiction of the London Daily Sketch, reporting on the opening day of the exhibition (24th April 1924 “Today’s weather: A good deal of cloud, rain or drizzle at times”)

Also included is background research on the exhibition and interesting facts about the monarch shown (George V - King of the United Kingdom, the British Dominions and Emperor of India).

Also included is your Xrelic polishing cloth. Designed to be worthy of closer inspection in itself and requiring the use of a magnifying class to decipher the hidden latin motto.

Lastly, don’t forget to write your own secret message in the box’s hidden compartment.
