A card from an original Cyanotype by Emily Spragge.
The Original image in the centre is of the December Roundel displayed in the V&A (originally found in Florence Italy) turned into a Cyanotype using a Neg exposed onto watercolour paper, there are details around the centre which is also a cyanotype of iron works from the V&A made into a pattern.
Each card is handmade and does vary slightly from image.
Card is blank inside for your own message.
The card is 5X7 and comes with an envelope and in a protective cellophane bag.
Saw the original Roundel displayed at the V&A, originally they came from Florence Italy, the 3rd picture is the information about the originals, this is the December Roundel.
Cyanotypes are an old photographic technique that is exposed by sunlight and therefore no two Cyanotypes can ever be exactly the same. This print is a one-off due to the nature of the cyanotype process. Blemishes and spots are also characteristic of the process and add to the charm of the image.
All my Cyanotypes are made using my own original photos.
