Well Autumn seems to be finally here but the hedgerows are still full of seasonal treats. I wanted to try to capture the rich maroon of the elderberry stalks, dripping with little back jewels, against the yellowing green of the fading leaves.
Like most of my pieces, the back of each copper plate is left torch marked as I feel this reflects the making process.
