These cards are from original artwork, 2 of which are based on the 12 Days of Christmas song, about the "eight maids-a-milking". I had just done a series of cows in pen and ink, and thought about combining my figures with them...then my kids were singing the song, and that`s when I had an idea for doing these paintings!
The second and third cards are cropped versions of the original artworks.
