Handmade sterling silver origami crane on a 16" sterling silver chain. The crane itself measures 2cm from nose to tail, one of the wings is extended over.

I fold each one by hand using traditional origami techniques, with specially crafted sheets of silver clay paper. The folded piece is then dried, fired by hand and then sanded, buffed and polished. Before firing, these are very delicate, so work on them is quite slow so as not to damage them. After firing, the finished product is 99.9% sterling silver and very solid and durable.

Product Care & Advice
As with all silver, every so often they will need polishing with silver polish and a cotton pad. I would suggest not to wear them with anything too delicate, as although they are sanded smooth, they may still catch on something like silk.
