Handmade paper collage turned into a one of a kind statement earrings.

Paper, tissue, and bondaweb have been fused together to create bold coloured collages. This is then backed with stiff, painted interfacing and die-cut to create my jewellery pieces. Each piece is then varnished to protect it from splashes and stains.

These earrings consist of oversized hoops with a star dangle attached together with jump rings.

My earrings use silver plated hooks and these are approx. 6.1cm x 6.1cm (2 3/8” x 2 3/8”)

Please note – this piece has been varnished to protect is from splashes, however it is still made from paper and should not be submerged in water as it can be damaged in this way.

My paper collage jewellery is light and delicate, but full of bold design– great for 1st wedding anniversary gifts, presents for quirky friends or even a fun treat for yourself!

I am inspired by bright colours and interesting textures. This piece comes from a paper collage that looks at cartoon colours - I was thinking about The Misfits from the 1980's cartoon Jem and the Holograms when I made it! The shapes are cut using a die-cut machine so even I don't know how the colours will look until they are cut out!
