An A3 unframed print of an acrylic painting by Anna Moore. A view from Shell Beach across the mud flats. This beach is composed entirely of shells, most of them slipper limpets. It is he site of nesting terns in spring / early summer, and an RSPB reserve. Also near to the site of St Peter's on the Wall, an early seventh century church. An inspirational place for an artist.
The view from the shell beach across the mudflats with waders out on the Estuary was stunning. The abundance of nature on full display with the thousands of shells, and vivid blue sky with white clouds scudding across it. I sketched and took photographs and painted it back at home.
