A pure merino lambswool woven wrap in shades of blue and green. The yarn is spun and dyed in Yorkshire, the fabric designed by myself in Wales, the fabric woven at Melin Teifi in Carmarthenshire, Wales, and the wrap made by myself at home in rural Carmarthenshire, Wales. The wrap is suitable to carry children age 0-3. The fabric is twill weave and the fabric weight 280gm2.

width- 70cm. Each tail measures 50cm, the length includes one tail. label at mid point.

The wrap comes with written instructions.

Hand wash and condition gently in warm water. Do not tumble dry. Cool iron.

In this wrap I have combined my love of babies and baby carrying, my love of Wales and Welsh traditions, my love of the Welsh coastline and the sea, and my love of textiles.

I have carried all my four children as babies and have tried all kinds of baby carriers. Woven wraps are my absolute favourite. They are so comfortable to wear, baby is held so close and safe and the fabrics are just gorgeous.Having a new baby is a time of such joy, but it can be very frustrating too! To carry your baby gives you the freedom to do other things while keeping baby happy and safe.

In Wales, within living memory, babies were traditionally carried in the woollen nursing shawl (siol fagu). They are still made at the woollen mill where my fabric is woven.

The fabric design is inspired by the sky and the sea at Poppit sands in Pembrokeshire on a beautiful sunny day. I have tried to capture those colours in the fabric.
