This painting measures 20 x 20 cms with a 4 cms deep edge.
I use artist quality brands such as Winsor & Newton and Golden Artist Colors. The edges have been painted blue as in the background of the image, so there is no need to frame it. It can be hung or be displayed directly on a small table easel, or a mantelpiece.
It will be packaged securely for transit, insured, and sent signed for delivery.
Please get in touch if you have any questions and I`ll do my best to help.
PLEASE NOTE: NO SALE TRANSFERS THE COPYRIGHT, WHICH REMAINS THE SOLE PROPERTY OF THE ARTIST. PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE IMAGES WITHOUT MY PERMISSION, THANK YOU.
Since we got a cat a few years ago, I have made several artworks based on sketches of our rather characterful, feline friend. (I have a German Shepherd dog, too, and the cat is boss!) I grew up on a farm, and there were lots of cats around. While I have based several pieces on our current mog, Mowgli, this painting is based on my very first childhood cat: a large, rather fat tortoiseshell. I remember we called it Dolly, after "Dolly Mixtures" sweets, because it seemed to have so many markings on its coat.
