Item details

This simple flower shape pendant is made from copper sheet which I textured before cutting out. The centre ball is sterling silver and the pendant hangs on a bail that I made from sterling silver wire and a 4mm Amethyst bead. The whole pendant hangs from a 40cm (16 inch) sterling silver fine curb chain.

I have finished the flower with Renaissance Wax, giving it a subtle lustre, which will darken and mellow with age. If you prefer a bright shine you can polish it with metal polish.

The pendant is approx. 3.3cm long including the bail (the flower is approx 1.7 x 1.7 cm).
The pendant weighs approx. 1.3 grams (2.2 grams including the chain).

I get most of my inspiration from the natural world, I love the shapes and textures of leaves and flowers and some of the simplest flowers are the loveliest. This is not meant to be a specific flower but a suggestion of a simple bloom.
