Cosmic Chakra Flower Mandala Painting 'Microcosm of the Macrocosm 2'.

This original box canvas abstract painting has been created using quality acrylic paints and the pointillism 'dotting' technique. It measures 7 x 5 inches and is painted with ultramarine background with multicoloured pattern.
The idea with this painting was to create cosmic chakra flowers, representing us, at four corners of the earth, seperate from the whole but still joined on some levels to the universe...the centre ...we are microcosms of the macrocosm. As with all my paintings, this piece is reiki blessed and would make a beautiful addition to any space.

In 2015, I started having what I call 'downloads', as if a silent kaleidoscope of patterns, shapes and colours were being played like a movie in front of my eyes. These happen regularly and last for around 15 minutes and reminded me of what I saw through my toy kaleidoscope that I had when I was young. People also say some of my paintings remind them of mandalas and look spiritual in nature, hence the name 'cosmic kaleidoscope' was born. I saw it as a prompt or encouragement to create. Each piece is uniquely designed to bring joy to the observer through the use of colour and the pointillism technique. Feel the vibes!
