I really enjoyed making these and I'm pleased with how they turned out, it was just a random idea that just popped into my head when I finished making some earrings.

I made these from Antique Gold Metal Charms, Peach Swarovski Crystals and Gold Coloured Pearls, Blue Magnesite and Antique Gold findings and chain.

All my findings are low nickel or nickel free (nickel safe) and meet EU regulations.

The stones come from The Genuine Gemstones Company which are 100% genuine gemstones so there will be some differences in colour saturation and size/shape of the stones.

The stones I used in this design are blue Magnesite.

Size of the Kilt pin is approx 5 cm by 1 cm.

Length is approx 8 cm.

The brooch comes in a gift box, complete with white non tarnishing cotton fill.

I was getting ready for another fair and wanted to try something new, I had some of these beads and charms in my stash for ages and back in 2013 I just started getting into gemstones.

It was at a time where I felt it was time not to be afraid to try new things. At the time I'd only been jewellery making for three years. I really enjoyed making these and I'm pleased with how they turned out, it was just a random idea that just popped into my head when I finished making some earrings and couldn't decide what to do next.
